Meet Your Guide

Kristen Lambert

Kristen is the founder of InnerWeave, a new concept where creativity, mindfulness, and movement connect.

With over a decade leading knitting workshops, wellness gatherings and community programs, Kristen has guided thousands of people to slow down to reconnect and discover the joy of making.

Through the Woodstock Winter Retreat, she’ll bring knitwear design expertise, alongside her passion for mindfulness and intentional living to guide participants through creative workshops, movement practices, and reflective sessions designed to reset the nervous system and nurture both body and mind.

Her thoughtful, heart-centered approach creates a safe and inspiring space for participants to arrive as they are and leave feeling grounded, restored, and renewed.

Meet Your Community Connector

Jess Ann Kirby

Jessica Kirby is the founder of the travel blog The New England Guide, and writer of the best-selling newsletter A Common Thread. Raised in coastal Rhode Island and now based in Vermont, Jess writes about mindful consumption, practices for staying grounded, and everyday life in New England.

Her work invites others to embrace living with intention and purpose, and to create a life anchored in creativity and connection.

When she’s not writing or building community, Jess enjoys time outdoors with her family, exploring all that Vermont and New England have to offer.

Meet Your Somatic Coach

Carolyn Barnwell

Carolyn is a creative producer, leadership coach and TRE® Provider (Tension Releasing Exercises). She believes tending to the nervous system is one of the most empowering and important things we can do as human beings, because it's foundational to how we experience life and make decisions.

Carolyn practiced TRE® personally for 15 years while traveling globally and producing documentaries for mission-driven organizations such as National Geographic and the TED Prize.

During 2020's upheaval, she felt called to become certified to help others learn this practice and has since guided over 500 people in TRE from Maine to DC.

She lives in Woodstock, VT with her husband, daughter, and pets.

Meet Your Private Chef

Holly Pierce

Holly has cooking, teaching, and connecting through communal experiences for nearly 30 years. Her work has spanned restaurant and catering kitchens, classrooms, farms, farmers markets, corporations, and small businesses, all rooted in the belief that food is far more than what we eat.

Trained in classic culinary techniques through hands-on professional kitchens and educational institutions, she discovered a deep love for teaching and bringing people together in the kitchen.

Over time, her work expanded into holistic wellness, recognizing that nourishment includes mindset, habits, culture, and the integration of mind, body, and spirit. She became a certified Holistic Wellness Practitioner in 2014.

Meet Your Yoga Teacher

Greta Calabrese

Greta began her yoga practice in Boston, completing her teaching certification in 2012. For her, yoga is a source of comfort in the body and balance in the mind.

In 2021, she returned home to Vermont, where she now leads weekly practices at Upper Valley Yoga in White River Junction. Greta’s teaching blends Hatha (with a foundation in Iyengar) and Vinyasa, inviting students to explore both structure and flow. She loves discovering new challenges within her own practice and sharing that inspiration with those she teaches.

Beyond the mat, Greta finds joy in pottery, interior design, and life with her husband and two young children as they explore the beauty of Vermont together.

Meet Your Movement Teacher

Kara Duval

Kara is a movement educator and the founder of Range, a global movement platform designed to help you move and live more humanly.

Her work blends Pilates, mobility, functional strength, and nervous system–supportive practices to create accessible, lifelong movement.

Kara brings a grounded, seasonal approach to both movement and life, believing that how we move should feel supportive, sustainable, and deeply connected.

Now residing in Woodstock, Vermont with her husband and our Irish Setter her mornings often start with Earl Grey tea, milk and honey and a hike with River or teaching on Range.

Meet Your Forest Guide

Tess O’Brien

After 18 years in leadership roles at climatetech startups, Tess has returned to her roots guiding people in the woods. Incorporating wellness, science, and a little whimsy into her forest immersion workshops, she helps participants find calm, tune into their intuition and get inspired while soaking up the natural health benefits of trees.

A Jersey Girl who grew up exploring the Adirondack mountains, Tess has always felt at peace in the woods. In college, she served as a trained facilitator of regular backcountry trips - from local day hikes and climbs to sea kayaking expeditions in Baja California.

She has an MBA in Sustainability and a BA in Environmental Studies; her first job was at Outside Magazine. Mom to two little adventurers, Tess lives in Boston and regularly escapes to the outdoors with her family.
